Making a Difference

Impact Stories

We’re on a mission to uplift families through coping, education, reimbursement, and support because no child should face these diagnoses alone.

Shay

Shay looooved her hope box! She was so excited from the moment she saw the puppy on the box. She lit up when she saw the stuffed animal and the blanket. Then she had so much fun putting the stuff on. Before we started she gave the puppy a hug and said “it’s okay I got you, it won’t hurt” 🥰 and afterwards she said “wow my puppy looks so cool!” Then we were showing her pictures of her with her stuff on and she thought it was so cool they looked alike…It was so cute to listen to her talk to it. I wish I would have recorded it but we were on the phone with my mom! But we said that’s exactly what these boxes are supposed to do. I think you guys nailed it on the head with that idea. It was perfect in every way.”

Adelaide

“When I reached out to Strong Brave Hopeful I didn’t know what to expect. How much comfort can you give a 7 month old undergoing seizures, MRI’s, bloodwork, EEG’s, ultrasounds, etc. the answer is – so much more than you could imagine. We talked and I told them about Adelaide’s situation. She’s 7 months old with a rapid increase in seizures and an older brother who’s witnessed almost every single one. Last night I came home from our third hospital stay to a package on our doorstep and I knew today would be special. We sat on the lawn and opened our hope box. Addie got a lovey which was an instant hit – I have a soggy paw to prove it, a blanket, a stuffed Hope puppy and Oliver got a Hope puppy with an EEG kit.

We sat in the front lawn and put Hope’s EEG leads on. He asked me if they were to give the puppy medicine. I told him no, they help doctors see what someone’s brain is doing. It can tell them what part of the brain is “misfiring”. I asked if this made Addie’s leads seem less scary and he said it did.

Without skipping a beat Strong, Brave, Hopeful tailored a hope box to my little family. They found the perfect pieces to bring Oliver and Addie comfort and education.

I am so incredibly grateful not for the items (okay well obviously I am) but for the memories that we made today and the support they’ve given us.”

Cami

“Thank you thank you thank you! She LOVED opening the box and helping the puppy prepare for its EKG.”

Hayley

“We’re thrilled that Hayley loves everything in her hope box, and we’re grateful that every detail resonated with her.”
